The Wardrobe Edit

Becoming a Mother does not mean you have to have a personality edit… but it does call for a wardrobe edit.

The tight pencil skirts and towering heels are best kept for date nights and instead I have welcomed with open arms the seasons block heels, Aquazurra style flats, a lot of hard wearing denim (must be soft) in the form of cut-offs, ripped jeans and seventies a-line skirts. Striped shirts worn oversized hide a multitude of sins and ‘statement’ tops give an allure of style even if you’ve chucked on yesterdays look from the bedroom floor.

Add a mani pedi, preferably done at the weekend whilst the little people are on ‘dad-time’ and you can pop to the local salon, and ta-da your look is complete!

The Wardrobe Edit inspiration board…  this week its oversized shirts, stripes and denim.
