The Wardrobe Edit: How High Can You Go?!

Over the knee boots have been huge for the past few years and they’re not going anywhere for AW15. Leg lengthening and frankly quite warming… they are the perfect boot for Winter. Rule of thumb… the shorter the skirt, the longer the boot. Thigh high boots are super sexy and this season Stuart Weitzman, Isabel Marant and Gucci are all leading the way. On the highstreet head to highstreet hero Zara for near identical takes on the catwalk pieces, then Aldo, Dune and Kurt Geiger are fantastic for elegant looking designs without the hefty price tag.

The most important thing to wear yours with this season – confidence!

Style wise, select heels or flat versions, I keep my heels for the evenings and flats for every day run arounds… then wearing over jeans is a subtle way to edge into the trend, or with tights and a pair of shorts for the tomboy looks and a big loose jumper dress for that cosy but sexy look.  For the brave, bare legs and a short skirt looks fantastic paired with a baggy top, a loose t-shirt or heavy knit. Here’s my pick of the best boot inspo….

  1. Great post, thanks so much! Good to see all the options in one go before I purchase my first ever pair. Not sure I’ll go with a heel yet, am leaning towards flat mainly because I’ll get more wear out of them. I’ll let you know how I get on x
