The Wardrobe Edit: Primark Does it Again

My wardrobe is a complete mix-up of designer and highstreet and I am not ashamed to admit… a healthy dollop of Primark can also be found lurking in the shadows. I think managing to pair your favourite designer investments with cheaper highstreet buys is the key in nailing the latest look whilst not breaking the bank.

Isabel Marant is copied season after season and although I may have indulged in a few pieces over the seasons I can’t justify over £400 on a sweater that is a trend piece… so when I saw Primarks latest offering hidden away on the bottom shelf in the far corner of my local branch I almost yelped with delight!!! Seriously! It is an amazing looky-likey of the beautiful Charley sweater, complete with silver eyelet lace-up detailing, chunky stitching around the waist, neckline and wrists, and in a beautifully soft wool…. ok maybe acrylic but who can tell right? And best of all it is just £14.

Buy the real deal here.. Charley lace-up wool-blend sweater or quickly run to Primark to pick-up their version before they all sell-out!

Know of anymore amazing lookey-likeys? Let me know and love to hear your thoughts… I know designer copies aren’t everyones cup of tea.

Love,

Vx

  1. I am all for finding high street versions of absolutely everything!! especially if its just a trendy piece that isn’t a classic investment! I need to track one of these bad boys down x

  2. The use of child labour is never acceptable no matter how great or indeed cheap a garment is. Although there are still many ethical high street brands that are definitely bargains & fantastic for mixing with high end.
