The Shopping Edit: More Leopard

Hoorah for Friday! Finally the weekend and time for some much-needed family time. And it’s also time to come clean on this weeks purchases…

The leopard print Stan Smiths… these beauties were featured on the blog earlier in the week and I had to snap some up myself. I figured they’d be great for adding some interest to the usual mum-uniform of jeans and a t-shirt and so far I haven’t taken them off all week. Super comfortable and go with everything. It is said that leopard print is a neutral now! There are a few leopard print Stan Smiths around at the moment but these particular ones were created by streetwear designer Kazuki Kuraishi, they’re built in Italian pony-hair leather ‘for a luxurious feel’ and then printed with leopard.  £100 so a bit more than I would normally spend on trainers but cost per wear and all that…. looks like they have sold out of the smaller sizes now so if you’re interested you can sign up for an alert on when they re-stock.

Second on my guilt list is this patterned shirt from H&M that I spotted hiding in with all the L.O.G.G. sports pieces and fell in love with. I’m not quite sure why I love it so much but I was seriously excited to find it, the £14.99 price tag certainly helped.

I love having my shirt unbuttoned to reveal just that little hint of bra but often find its either too low or too high. I’m either a flasher or a prude! This shirt opens up to just the right depth, revealing nothing more and nothing less than exactly what I want to reveal. And the pattern is a very modern bohemian style in a cool blue that looks great with blue or black jeans. It can be dressed up for evening with a leather skirt or dressed down with… my third and final purchase….

…the Zara relaxed fit jeans. I am so pleased Zara is now full of all the new season pieces, and a beautiful friend gifted me some Zara-pounds for my birthday (the best present there is surely) so I have been pondering what to spend it on. These blue jeans caught my eye and just like the trainers I haven’t taken them off all week. I bought one size bigger so they’re more ‘boyfriend’ style. I can’t wait to wear them with heels on Saturday night!

And there it is for this week… have you bought anything nice?! Love to hear from you.

Thanks,
