It’s the weekend again hoorah! And this week I made a purchase which I never feel guilty about… we booked a holiday. I am crazy excited about it as it seems like the entire Instagram nation has been lounging on a beach the past few months as I have been wrapped up in multiple layers with nothing but my trusty bottle of fake tan to give me that Summer sun feel…
So earlier than usual I have started thinking Summer sandals and bikinis and it made me realise now is actually the perfect time to start the new season shop. It gives you something to look forward to, and aim for (that Summer body), and enough time to curate the look you really want. Too many times have I been frantically calling up customer services trying to hunt down the elusive blogger-favourite sandals that have been seen everywhere but you can’t seem to find anywhere. This year I am buying early!
As well as the hotly anticipated holiday I have also bought a few other pieces to add to the trans-seasonal wardrobe. A knit I am hoping will be perfect for Spring/Summer evenings as well as Winter days (this isn’t online though so no link below sorry). A bomber jacket I fell in love with on the amazing Michelle from My Fashionable 40’s that’s yet to arrive. A Summer dress in the brightest shade of red and totally out of my comfort zone. Silk trousers I am still unsure about. A new gold chain after ripping mine off my neck with a hairbrush, whoops. Another striped top. And some Summer sandals! Here they all are….
*Idea stolen from the stylish Michelle here*
Love to read your comments… or any exciting buys you’ve found this week?
