Friday confession time… and looking at the weeks purchases it’s pretty obvious I am desperate for the Summer to arrive! Dresses, a mini skirt (eek I haven’t worn a mini in years!) vest tops… the shops are just full of exciting Summer ideas right now. So here goes…
The Mini
I love a tassel and this baby is covered in them. I’ll be wearing it on Summer evenings with flat sandals, and then totally casual with a baggy t-shirt in the day. I can’t find it online I am afraid but it’s part of H&M’S new trend story they launched this week so pretty sure stores will still have lots of them. And their customer service phone line is fantastic at helping you track down anything you need.
The Vest Tops
I bought three vest tops this week (!!), a black lace one from M&S, a striped one from Zara and a white lace version from Mango. Mango is fast becoming one of my favourite stores! M&S version was from their ‘Collection’ and its not online, and annoyingly neither is the Mango version – however… they do have the dress version of it here. I don’t have confidence for this but worn with a baggy knit it would look incredible!
The Jacket
I have a pretty strong feeling this will be returned… It’s bright, very bright and very un-me!!! I just love the fit, it’s very flattering with the waist tie and also super soft. If it was in black and white or even blue I’d be head over heels…

The Straw Hat
I love wearing a hat and my winter hat from H&M was an absolute bargain at £14.99 so I have shelled out a whole more £5 for a Zara Summer hat. Hope its worth it!
The Beauty Buy
This week I finished my jar of Charlotte Tilbury eye cream, it didn’t last long and to be honest I didn’t rate it. It made my eyes sting if I didn’t go to sleep straight away so I would end up lying in bed rubbing my eyes. Sure that’s not good for the crows feet! So I am trialling this Lancome eye cream – Lancome Renergie Eye. Will let you know how I get on with it.

Give Korean skin care a try …. I’m loving Mizon Collagen eye cream & Mizon Suboon Moisturiser …. Cheap as chips and fabulous on my 46 year old skin! 🤓

I love the style/ fit of this jacket too but I can tell the colours will make it something you wont be in the mood for for most of the summer (if not all of it lol), Topshop Boutiue have a range of judo everything which has this same wrap fit and also zara have just brought out a linen type judo wrap in an old pale beige with a black wrap. Always love your style though xx
