This week has actually been a bit of a whirlwind week so perhaps my mood influenced my purchases. A pair of striped trousers and some giant hoop earrings. Feeling very ‘run away with the circus’ in both.
H&M earrings
I pretty much always wear the same earrings day in day out, two diamond studs on left ear and three on my right. I went through a big earring phase about five years ago so have a huge collection but always end up feeling somewhat overdressed when I put them on and they’re always whipped off before I rush out the door. So when I stumbled across these beauties I fell in love with their simplicity, and the drama they give an otherwise plain outfit. Understated glamour. They’re not on the website unfortunately so if you love them as much as I do you’ll have to hunt them out in your local store.

Zara trousers
These Zara trousers are so out of my comfort zone. I am all for stripes up top, but down below… well I love them too now. They’re slightly cropped so look cute with a block heel and flats. Sandals and a simple white trainer. T-shirt or little vest. Day and night. Even if they do remind me of coco the clown.
And that’s my lot – I’ve been relatively good this week much to my husbands relief…
