Happy Friday ladies, time to crack open a bottle of wine and relax… and maybe do a little bit of internet shopping?!
This week has been a mixed bag weather wise and its totally reflected in my random shopping basket… a pair of linen trousers, a denim mini, more gingham, super soft t-shirt and a seriously shiny vest top.
The beautiful little pom-poms on these Zara trousers give easy-to-wear black linen a different and more interesting edge. Wear with a shirt loose, tied at the front in a knot, or opt for a t-shirt for a relaxed Summer style. The shape looks great with a wedge and boho with slides. Lightweight, perfect for travel and easy to pull on in the evenings or daytime. Perfect Summer holiday trousers that will see you through Autumn.
And my gingham obsession continues… this little beauty is a Zara classic, it can be styled in three ways thanks to the little knot details at the front and back. Wear long and loose, cropped, or tight on the waist. One top three ways.
After seeing every stylish woman on Instagram in one of these especially the amazing Jessie Bush, I finally succumbed and bought myself a little Levi vintage mini skirt. I LOVE it! Feel a little more conservative than when I wear the cut-offs so perhaps more chances to wear it, and it goes with everything. Slides, trainers, espadrilles, flip-flops and loafers. You name it you can pair it. LOVE!
I also got my hands on one of these little get tees from MuthaHood – and I have managed to get a 10% discount code for readers of AME if you fancy buying one for yourself. Mutha Hood Goods give all their net profits straight to Save The Children. and the discount won’t effect profits donated so you can spend without the guilt. Use the code AMOTHERSEDIT10
This little red top was quite a random purchase for me, super shiny, pleated and with high neck I was instantly drawn to it. I love it styled down with my mom-jeans but looks equally cute with a skirt. The high neckline means you can get away with flashing a bit of leg.
H&M RED TOP – not online but just £7.99 in stores
And finally – this Mango dress I just love and in the sale its such a bargain. Takes me back to being six years old and totally and utterly carefree… definitely some sort of regression going on over here. Oh dear.
Love,
Ashley x

Hi – love the Levi’s skirt. What’s the sizing like? I’m usually a small or size 8/10 and wondered if the small would likely do me or if I should go up a size. Thanks!

Small would probably be ok, it’s tough to know with vintage though… Do they have a size conversion chart? I know asos marketplace do which is so helpful x
